CONFLUENCE 2015 kicks off with the Legislature’s Joint Committee on the Arts hearing on the Creative Economy of California on Wednesday, April 15 at 9:30 a.m. in the Capitol. Later that day, there will be time reserved for networking with other arts leaders and visiting your elected representatives. Concluding the day will be a reception sponsored by The Boeing Company.
CONFLUENCE 2015 day two will primarily be devoted to learning and sharing, as we hear from a wide spectrum of thought leaders and practitioners in our field in plenary sessions with keynote speakers and in breakout sessions with specialized panels. Day two activities sponsored by The California Arts Council.
CONFLUENCE 2015 will feature discussions by leading experts on topics such as the creative economy, arts for at-risk youth, arts & local government collaborations, building public will, arts education, arts & veterans, community engagement, arts & aging, and others areas of mutual concern.
CONFLUENCE 2015 will include ample time for networking with other arts leaders and to visit your elected representatives or members of their staff in the Capitol.
